These guidelines define what is and isn't allowed on Guildbase. We're committed to keeping the platform safe for all communities and their members.
Our commitment: Guildbase is a tool for building thriving communities. We want every person who interacts with a Guildbase-powered form to feel safe and respected. These guidelines apply to all content created or collected through the platform.
These Content Safety Guidelines apply to all content submitted through or stored on Guildbase, including application form questions, applicant responses, community descriptions, automated messages, and any other content created by community administrators or their members.
Community administrators are responsible for ensuring that their use of Guildbase complies with these guidelines. Guildbase may review reported content and take enforcement action where guidelines are violated.
The following content is strictly prohibited on Guildbase:

Important: Administrators are responsible for all content created or collected through their Guildbase account. Allowing prohibited content to persist after being notified may result in account suspension.
When creating application forms, administrators must:
Applicants who submit data through Guildbase-powered forms retain rights over their personal data. Administrators must be able to delete individual applicant data on request.
When we identify or receive reports of guideline violations, we take action proportionate to the severity:

We reserve the right to take immediate action — including account suspension without prior notice — where there is an imminent risk of harm.
If you encounter content on Guildbase that you believe violates these guidelines, please report it to us:
Please include as much detail as possible: the URL or name of the community, a description of the content, and any supporting evidence. Reports are reviewed by our safety team, typically within 24 hours.
All reports are handled confidentially. We will not disclose the identity of a reporter to the subject of a report without your permission, except as required by law.
If your account has been actioned under these guidelines and you believe the decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting safety@guildbase.io within 30 days of the action.
Please include your account details, the reason for appeal, and any supporting context. Appeals are reviewed by a member of our team not involved in the original decision. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Our decision on appeal is final. Accounts actioned for the most severe violations (CSAM, imminent threats of violence) are not eligible for appeal.
